Maria Margolies is an experienced yoga teacher, certified health coach, collaborator and Founder of Holixtic, a brand that generates yoga and wellness content. She’s been practicing movement, dance, yoga and meditation for much of her life. She has taught Ashtanga and many forms of Vinyasa for over 15 years.

She has a rooted practice of 20 years in the Ashtanga Yoga method under the guidance of Sri K Pattabhi Jois, Sharath Jois and Eddie Stern. She has taught in the best studios in NY, AYNY, The Shala, YogaWorks, Love Yoga and the Woom Center to name a few.

Maria teaches online and travels to teach high profile clients, retreats, workshops and in Wanderlust Festivals. She teaches the traditional method of ashtanga yoga as well as her own unique blend of creative, spontaneous movement, breath and stillness that combine her years of experience in movement and yogic practices. She believes in the body being the vessel for transformation and in the powerful alchemy of movement and breath. By using movement as medicine, she inspires her students to connect to the divine present moment; a direct portal to our own intuition and inner wisdom.

Maria created Shakti Rituals in women's circles. She holds events and workshops to help elevate women and connect them to their divine feminine. Through a contemporary approach to the word ritual María creates a safe space for collective and personal exploration for the modern woman.

She is deeply grateful to all her teachers and people who have supported her, guided her through the path with love and compassion and that have given her knowledge, light and strength to pursue her dharma.
