Day 19: HIIT Yoga: Dynamic Core with Kate Alvarado
Welcome to the HIIT of the 21 day sculpt challenge! In this 30 minute class, yoga meets high intensity interval training. This class mixes dynamic yoga postures, cardio, and weight training with moments of pause and lots of breath. Weights are optional! No weights? Try an alternative from around the house, like canned food, water bottles, books or even wine bottles.
Struggling to fly your feet in crow pose? This 20-minute session will teach you how to strengthen and activate your core muscles using both static and dynamic exercises.
Breathe through some classic hip openers in a 20-minute feel good stretch that sets your body up for strengthening postures.
Open your heart with 30 minutes of beginner-friendly backbends. You’ll learn how to safely get in and out of backbending poses and practice cobra, sphinx, bow pose, and bridge pose.
